Diese 4Track EP basiert auf auf meiner diesjährigen live performance „4 Plätze in meiner Stadt“. Normalerweise werden die Musikstücke erst komponiert und dann auf der Bühne live performed. Dieses mal bin ich es genau anders herum angegangen und habe einen Livemitschnitt aus dem Proberaum als Vorlage verwendet und die Stücke im Studio seziert und mehr oder weniger nachgebaut.

„Als Stadtmensch bewegt man sich fast jeden Tag durch die Stadt und hört trotzdem nie richtig auf die unendliche Vielzahl akustischer Signale, die um einen herum tönen. Wer jedoch inne hält, die Augen schließt und bewusst zuhört, erkennt die Sinfonie der Klänge - die es so an Plätzen in meiner Heimatstadt Augsburg gibt. Ich habe innegehalten und möchte diese Klänge mit euch teilen“.

Alle Fieldrecordings dieser EP wurden wurden in meiner Heimatstadt Augsburg aufgenommen.

This 4Track EP is based on my live performance „4 Plätze in meiner Stadt“.
Usually the pieces are composed first and then performed live on stage. This time I did it the other way around and used a live recording from the rehearsal room as a template and dissected the pieces in the studio and more or less recreated them.

“As a city dweller, you move through the city almost every day and yet never really listen to the endless number of acoustic signals that ring out around you. However, if you stop, close your eyes and listen consciously, you will recognize the symphony of sounds - which can be found in places in my hometown Augsburg. I paused and wanted to share these sounds with you”.

All field recordings for this EP were recorded in my hometown of Augsburg.
